I have a sony DSC-P10 digital camera. My freind dropped it and the lens wont go back in. I could send it in for repairs but it would take too long and its too costly to do that. Can anyone explain how I can fix it myself?

I have a vivitar 5 megapixel digital camera and I took the batteries out while it was on and now if I put the batteries back in and press the power button it just loads the vivitar start up screen and nothing else. The lens are stuck out and I think this is part of the problem.

My friend was playing around with my camera at a sleepover and broke it. We couldn’t find the recipt for it so we finally decided to take it in anyway. It’s been 90 days and they said they can’t do anything but to suggest we call the retailer. They gave us the number but we don’t know what will happen. Will they give us a new camera or a replacement lens? It’s not the glass part but the thing that holds the glass part. How long will it take? Please share your experiences. Would taking it to a repair shop work better?

I have an Olympus c-4000 zoom camera in my possession, and I am attempting to repair it for someone.
He said he dropped it, and now the zoom lens (two whole pieces) has fallen off and I cannot get it back on. I have tried looking for camera repair shops in my area, but they are all closed down.
I can get the inner piece of the lens inside and attached, but I am having a hard time attaching the outer shell back onto it.
Please help me!

I have a fairly new Sony pocket digital camera. While getting off a plane the sudden change in temperature (and pressure perhaps) created condensation on the back of the non-removable lens and left an annoying smear which became ever present on my pictures. Does anyone know a trick to get rid of it without having to send it to the shop for repairs?
