Canon TC-DC58C Tele Converter Lens for Canon A650IS, G7 & G9 Digital Cameras When you need more telephoto zoom in a smaller package, the Canon TC-DC58C teleconverter lens is an ideal choice. The TC-DC58C converts the focal distance of your body lens by a factor of 2x when attached to a Canon A650IS, G7, or G9 digital camera. Note: the converter requires the LA-DC58H lens adapter to connect with the PowerShot G7 camera.
- Magnification: 2x
- Rear mount diameter: 58mm
- Front mount diameter: None
- Construction: 3 elements in 3 groups
- Dimensions: 3.2 inches in diameter and 3.3 inches long
- Weight: 11.7 ounces
Customer Review: Canon TC-DC58C Together with required LADC58H converter this telephoto lens works as advertised. Read other reviews for performance, remembering that the G9 is not a DSLR. If you already have the G9 and would like to extend your telephoto capabilities with this camera, go for it. If you are considering buying a G9 or G10 and need the extra telephoto capabilities, you probably should take a closer look at DSLR’s available within this price range for greater choice of options. Customer Review: Canon TC-DC58C + Sony DSC-H3 Perfect couple review. I bought this Canon 2X Tele Lens to be used on my Sony DSC-H3 camera with 58mm mounting. This is a perfect solution for Tele photos, the image is very clear and the size and weight of lens is more than affordable for this camera model.

Customer Review: First(ish) L I bought this lens just about a month ago after an endorsement from one of the teachers at a photography class I was taking. (The fact that I was taking an introductory photography class should give you some sense of my skill level, and hence perspective…) I’d previously purchased and returned the 300M L, for both quality and usability issues.

Canon LA-DC58K Conversion Lens Adapter for Canon G10 Digital Cameras For the Canon PowerShot G10 Digital Camera Customer Review: Canon LA-DC58K Conversion Lens Adapter for Canon G10 Digital Cameras I recently got this with my G10 and confirm everything negative that everyone here says about it ,.. A MUCH better alternative are the products available thru [...] they explain what works and what does not and what you need to achieve a given result,.. I have purchased replacement parts thru them and Im very pleased,.. the Canon part is simply sub-par dont waist your money. As far as Amazon goes they were GREAT as always speedy ontime delivery at a great price. Customer Review: Very poor design and materials For some reason Canon has forgotten that the G10 is a flagship product, and released this “accessory.” While I can understand the need for two pieces to some degree, the workmanship, materials, and limitations it imposes upon the camera are all unacceptable. The plastic itself is flimsy and too flexible, and I suspect will become brittle in cold temperatures. The limitations imposed by this adapter are the worst part-full zoom range is not available, and severe vignetting occurs at wide angle. Third party products are available for a higher price that are made of metal, and offer a larger filter diameter to avoid vignetting and are longer to allow full zoom range. Let’s hope this product is just an exception, rather than the rule when it comes to Canon’s new accessories.

Canon LA-DC58H Conversion Lens Adapter for Canon G7 & G9 Digital Cameras Required for Wide Converter WC-DC58B & Teleconverter TC-DC52B Customer Review: DOES NOT WORK WITH CANON A650 NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS! This conversion lens adapter DOES NOT WORK WITH CANON A650! It may be a fabulous adapter for the right camera, but not for this one. The only lens adapter you need for the Canon PowerShot A650 is the LA-DC58J. It will work for both the correct Tele-converter and Wide Converter lenses for this camera, which are the following: Tele-converter TC-DC58C and Wide Converter WC-DC58B. Trust me, just read the back of your Powershot A650 manual. Customer Review: Canon LA-DC58H Conversion Lens Adapter for Canon G7&G9 Digital Cameras A necessary product for Canon Tele Converter lens…the material is plastic rather than metal it works fine be careful not to “cross thread”the lens and don’t tighten it to much a light snug fit will work.I never remove it… makes a fine lens hood.

Customer Review: Definitely worth it. I own a lot of L series lenses from Canon and love this lens. I used it for a year on my 40D and was pleased, not extatic. Upon upgrading to the 5Dm2 I became extatic. The quality is great on a crop factor but when you compare it to the full frame, you will notice the difference.

Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras Designed to meet consumer demands for a fast EF-S zoom lens, the EF-S 17-55mm offers image quality on par with Canon’s highly regarded L-series lenses. And thanks to the Image Stabilizer lens groups–which shift to compensate for camera shake–the image appears crisp and clear on the image plane, eve in dim light. Finally, the lens offers a ring-type ultra-sonic monitor (USM), inner focusing, and new AF algorithms to help achieve autofocus quickly and quietly, along with full-time mechanical manual focusing that makes it possible to manually adjust the focus even in AF mode. As with all Canon lenses, this lens carries a one-year warranty.

Customer Review: Perfect Lens for a 1.6 crop. I purchased the 17-55mm about a month ago, and was very happy with the quality of images the lens produced. I like night photography and the f/2.8 helped alot, even when shooting without using a tripod. There are alot of good things to say about this lens, i know alot of people are in love with it, maybe because it’s one of few lenses that Canon produce for the 1.6 crop cameras? Well on day 2 of having the lens, i was shooting outdoor and noticed a few dust particals behind the front glass. It was not fun to see dust from the 2nd day of getting the lens, specially after paying that amount of cash. I kept using the lens for almost 3 weeks, and everytime i shoot outdoor i noticed more and more DUST particals in my lens. So i decided to return the lens for a full refund. Amazon did the refund very fast, it just took like 2-3 days to get the money back. Thanks Amazon for a great and honest support. Well after getting the money back, i placed an order for 2 other lenses from Amazon. EF 17-40mm f/4L USM and EF 50mm f1.4 USM. I just could not stand the dust issue, and i have read that they won’t effect the image quality or the foucs. I also have friends that have been using this lens for a while now, without having the DUST issue. I guess i was not lucky.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens for Canon SLR Cameras A highly practical medium telephoto lens with superb delineation and portability, the Canon EF 85mm lens produces sharp and clear images at all apertures. Through computer simulations, the lens has been designed to give beautiful background blur, thereby bringing your subject into crisp view. The ring-type ultra-sonic monitor (USM) and fast f/1.8 aperture, meanwhile, helps the subject zip into focus in the viewfinder. And because the front lens group does not rotate during focusing, special filter effects are not affected. Best of all, the standard zoom lens–with its natural angle of view and perspective–captures the subject plainly, making it excellent for portraits and images that require a natural depth of field. As with all Canon lenses, the lens carries a one-year warranty.
- Focal length: 85mm
- Maximum aperture: 1:1.8
- Lens construction: 9 elements in 7 groups
- Diagonal angle of view: 28 degrees (at 30 feet)
- Focus adjustment: Rear focusing system with USM
- Closest focusing distance: 2.8 feet
- Filter size: 58mm
- Dimensions: 3 inches in diameter, 2.8 inches long
- Weight: 15 ounces
Customer Review: Great lens for indoor sports Got this lens for high school indoor volleyball and basketball games. I love it so far. The focus is fast, f1.8 is great for some of the poorly lit gyms we play in, and the 85mm length is just right for taking pictures from the stands. The only con I can think of is that working with a prime lens takes some getting used to - You have to think ahead about where to position yourself for different types of shots since you can’t just zoom in and out. Also as others have noted on this and other lenses the focus can be a little soft when it’s wide open at f1.8. At f2.0 and f2.2 I could still use a fast shutter and get really sharp pics. Customer Review: Brilliant lens for portraits This lens is brilliant for portraits. The background blurrs out and the object really stands out. Wonderful. This is the best lens for photographing people from a close angle. Yet, I had to get used to the focal distance of 85mm because you can’t zoom in or out!

A good match for the Canon EOS A2/A2e or ELAN 7 series cameras with built-in flashes, the EF 28-105mm lens is an excellent zoom lens for everyday use. The lens carries a one-year warranty.
- Focal length: 28-105mm

The lens is distinguished by a newly developed micro ultra-sonic monitor (USM) that makes autofocusing quicker and quieter, along with an improved zoom mechanism that includes a silver ring on the front for a luxurious touch. The micro USM makes this version of the lens particularly suitable for applications that require a fast autofocus, such as sporting events or wildlife shoots. Best of all, the USM version shares many of the same features that makes the non-USM lens so popular, such as a compact size, a close focusing range, and accessory compatibility. As with all Canon lenses, this unit carries a one-year warranty.
- Focal length: 75-300mm
- Maximum aperture: 1:4.5-5.6
- Lens construction: 13 elements in 9 groups
- Diagonal angle of view: 32 degrees (at 11 feet) to 8 degrees (at 15 feet)

- Zoom system: Rotating type
- Filter size: 58mm
- Dimensions: 2.8 inches in diameter, 4.8 inches long

Customer Review: Works as designed. It’s a great lens, and the USM motors really do help you focus a lot faster, but still not quite as fast as the smaller lenses.
