Opteka 10x 58mm HD? Professional Macro Lens for Canon EOS / EF Opteka 10x 58mm HD? Professional Macro Lens for Canon EOS / EF Now you can take close-up shots like you never took before. Opteka proudly presents the next HD10X macro lens. Originally designed for dentists and medical use, the HD10X is now available to the public. Unlike current single element lenses, the HD10X has 4 elements of high definition optical glass that provides unbelievable detail. Cameras fitted with normal lenses do not permit us to move closer than a certain minimum distance from the object being photographed. The Close-Up lens, which is simply mounted in the front of our normal taking lens, permits the taking of close-ups and also makes possible the photography of details which would be quite impossible without using the Close-Up lens. The easy to use solution for getting extra close. These lenses enable you to get much closer than the minimum focus of the standard camera lens - as close as 4 inches from the subject. Ideal for cataloging small items and focusing on details.
Customer Review: great product for the price
This macro lens attaching to an existing lens works well and has an exceedingly low price. Of course it is not a dedicated macro lens. But because it is easy to carry (small) and so inexpensive and of good quality it is a bargain.
Customer Review: good, but not works
its a very good product, but if you are thinking this will work with your macro lens, forget it… the closed it’s too small and F have to be very high to see something and the focus area is too small.

Customer Review: Macro Away.
I use the lens for close up product shots for a business that my partner runs. I also use it for shots of my work for my portfolio. It is versatile and takes very clear pics. Overall I really enjoy using it.
Customer Review: Nice little lens for the price.
I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced macro lens for taking pictures of my husband’s scale models, and wanted to get all of the fine details that a macro lens can find.

Customer Review: First(ish) L
I bought this lens just about a month ago after an endorsement from one of the teachers at a photography class I was taking. (The fact that I was taking an introductory photography class should give you some sense of my skill level, and hence perspective…) I’d previously purchased and returned the 300M L, for both quality and usability issues.

Canon Lens Rear Cap for Canon EF SLR Lenses Canon Lens Rear Cap for Canon EF SLR Lenses A rear lens cap for Canon EOS lenses / Protects lens from dust, impact and scratches
Customer Review: Must have for lens protection
Like others, I lost mine while shooting and needed a solid replacement that matched the original. This is it. It’s a bit pricey, but nothing compared to the glass you are protecting. Very pleased.
Customer Review: Well built. Does the job perfect
As most photographer experienced one time or more : losing the lens cap. I lost mine when I was shooting an outdoor group activity. It’s exactly same as the factory one, well built, solid. And it’s cheap! 5 stars!

Customer Review: Good Canon L Lens but not for the price.
Again, Canon L lens will never disappointed any photographers this 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM is no exception and it will allow you to shoot in very tight pace without moving back, I had a chance to try it from my friend while I have my own EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM. This 16-35mm is going to give you super image quality with just a little distortion that you can’t barely notice until you enlarge final print, to me it’s nothing better than canon 24-70mm F/2.8L USM. Except its version II. I have also thanks to my best friend allows me to try it before I decide to make some upgrade. I’ll keep my own.
Here is some side by side comparison, so future users could use some help.

Customer Review: Great Lens !
This lens is a great lens not only because it is extremely versatile in its range going from a wide angle to a telephoto but also because I found the quality of the pictures that I got from it to be excellent. The Image Stabilizer is a good tool to have in situations where there is not a lot of light. You can drop your shutter speed down, have enough light for a good exposure, and not have an out of focus picture. I would highly recommend this lens. I have a 70-200 L series Canon lens that I am very happy with because of it’s high optic quality, but I have no problem at all, and all the confidence in the world using this “S” series lens in any situation that I feel to be appropriate at the time.
Customer Review: great walk-around lens (maybe some chromatic aberration?)
My first every Ebay score, the Canon EF-S 17-85mm lens (featuring image stabilization) was a much coveted item around here. It had come highly recommended and seemed to be a great complement to my beloved 50mm prime and a perfect replacement for the 18-55mm kit lens that shipped with the XTi.

Canon EW63II Lens Hood for EF 28 f/1.8, 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 & 28-105 f/4.0-5.6 SLR Lens Canon EW63II Lens Hood for EF 28 f/1.8, 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 & 28-105 f/4.0-5.6 SLR Lens Hoods are one of the most important accessories for each lens you own. A lens hood provides multiple functions: it shades the lens from stray light, improving your contrast and image quality; in inclement weather, it can assist in keeping moisture or wind-blown debris off the lens; and it protects the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles.
Customer Review: Lens hood is a must
If you are serious about photography, then you should use a lens hood to eliminate stray light and improve colors and contrast. Cannon hoods work fine.
Customer Review: Yes this fits the XSI !!!
OK so I have looked everywhere for this type of hood and wanted it from Canon. Thanks to Amazon I got it and a great deal. The hood does fit the 58mm lens on the Canon XSI and does a great job at blocking extra light even with the long range lens I have. It pops off and on easily for both lenses and flips backwards for storage on the lens. Works with filter and end cap.

Customer Review: Definitely worth it.
I own a lot of L series lenses from Canon and love this lens. I used it for a year on my 40D and was pleased, not extatic. Upon upgrading to the 5Dm2 I became extatic. The quality is great on a crop factor but when you compare it to the full frame, you will notice the difference.

Lens hoods match the specific focal length of the lens it was designed for.

This lens hood fits the following Canon lenses:

  • EF-S 18 to 55mm f3.5-5.6
  • EF 28 to 80mm f3.5-5.6 II
  • EF 28 to 90mm f4-5.6 II USM
  • EF 28 to 90mm f4-5.6 II

Customer Review: Perfect hood
I purchased this hood to use with my kit lens on my Canon Rebel XSi. It works great and stores perfectly (put on backwards). I highly recommend this hood.
Customer Review: What, no hood?
“I know, let’s sell the lens hood separately. We can make killing on selling them separately and just think more wasteful packaging. I love it. Maybe we can even figure out a way to sell the glass as an accessory”.
