I bought a wide angle lens for my camcorder. What type of lubricant should I use on the threads of the wide angle lens?

will it make any difference if you leave the camera with the fingermarks on the lens? does this mean your pictures cannot come out with great quality, as compared to when you clean it?

I have a Canon EOS XT, I need to take real estate photos, What kind of lens would I need? or do i need one? Anyone have any tips on taking this type of photography?
Oh and how do you get your name in the lower portion of the finished photo?

I recently purchased a Nikon D70, body only. I’m in need of a lens and was thinking of getting an 18-200mm, would there be any reason to also get an 18-55mm lens? Thanks in advance!

Could some tell me if there is a material that is see through like glass or plastic that is clearly see through to the naked eye but to a camera lens it is unclear.
For example I am finding a material that cannot be seen through a camera lens clearly maybe it blurry or muddled, but to the eye it is like crystal clear.

I have an Olympus c-4000 zoom camera in my possession, and I am attempting to repair it for someone.
He said he dropped it, and now the zoom lens (two whole pieces) has fallen off and I cannot get it back on. I have tried looking for camera repair shops in my area, but they are all closed down.
I can get the inner piece of the lens inside and attached, but I am having a hard time attaching the outer shell back onto it.
Please help me!

I have a neighbour that has 6 cameras pointing into my yard for stalking reasons. the cameras are wireless security cameras with motion sensors. I have ask police if this is legal and it is. All I need to know is how can I stop this camera from working without touching it. do laser pointers pointed into to lens stuff them up?

should i really pay more for .Vibration Reduction in a lens for a nikon camera?

I want the photos to come out more portrait like. the smart scene already has a portrait setting, but the photos come out looking like regular snapshots. I’ve read the manual and I’ve adjusted everything accordingly. is there a lens I can buy to improve this, or do I just need a better camera?
